Canada has published guidance to assist the consumer products industry to comply with asbestos in consumer products regulations. The guideline provides information on ‘trace amounts of asbestos’ and suitable analytical methods.
South Korea Publishes Notification for Updated Safety Standards for Products

The Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) has enacted Notification No. 2018-195 dated June 29, 2018 for prescription of safety standards for household goods that are subject to safety standards in accordance with Article 28 of the Electric Appliances and Household Goods Safety Management Act.
EU Expands Restriction of Phthalates Under REACH
